The Deanwood Citizens Association (DCA) has donated $18,000 to six schools in the Deanwood community and nearby neighborhoods, supporting educational advancement and professional development. Funded through a Community Benefits Agreement with Neighborhood Development Group, this initiative promotes academic achievement and highlights the power of partnerships in addressing educational equity in Ward 7.

Charlene Morring, Esq., owner of Morring Law P.L.L.C., has been appointed to the Better Business Bureau Board of Greater Hampton Roads. A distinguished attorney and community advocate, Morring brings her dedication to ethical business practices and local engagement to the BBB.
